Text messages from your clinic: how to opt in

Medi-Weightloss® clinics in North Carolina and Florida, operated by Central Florida Wellness, LLC

Patients choose whether to receive text messages. Texting is optional: you can be a patient, and buy any program, subscription or membership, without agreeing to texts.

1. On your intake or enrollment form

Your patient forms include the checkbox below. It is not checked for you. You opt in only by checking it yourself and giving the mobile number you want us to text.

2. By texting your clinic

If you text your clinic's number first, your clinic will reply to you by text. Those replies answer your message only; we send reminders and account notices only to patients who opted in on their form.

What you will receive

  • appointment reminders, confirmations and scheduling changes;
  • links to forms you need to complete;
  • account notices about your subscription or membership, such as a payment that did not go through;
  • replies to messages you send to your clinic.

We do not send marketing messages, and our texts never include diagnoses, lab results or medication details.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one message confirming it, and then no more.
  • Reply HELP for help, or call your clinic.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
